Interesting show. Thanks to Drew, Kyle and Sinead for bringing up important points. The first one is vital: Getting in shape. “Working Out”….I heard Kyle say something about “going to the gym”. That’s good, but simply expending energy to “burn calories” and “get a pump” does not really equate to “Functionality. Especially in terms of self-defense. A word of advice: The MOST valuable thing you could learn is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It’s a fantastic workout, requires strength, a lot of flexibility and most importantly “it works”. With it, you can pretty much destroy joints and submit people at will. Next up would be learning a striking art like boxing – but that would not be primary. On the street, guns are still king. Get a… Read more »

Listeining now. Dru you are being generous about the fat thing lol. I think 300 not 400 lol, and even 300 is generous. 200 lbs for a man 6′-4″ maybe be not one else should weigh that much lol

Sounds like shilling for Big Food and Pharma. Shame and blame for the corporations’ exploitations. Where I live, Shoprite uses illicit maneuvers to prevent Trader Joe’s from opening stores. It’s an ultimate irony that the inner cities in my area feature tons of Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s and competitive ‘smart food’ shopping while the more middle and working class white areas that don’t have access to such options remain dependent on shit corporate food. It’s also bizarre to see skinny people as somehow not parasitic. My mother sits around all day smoking and drinking parasiting off whoever and is underweight. I’ve been skinny, fat for a time thanks to ‘pharmajewticals,’ and mostly average. I became a wraith a few years back by cutting out… Read more »

Read this soft porn propaganda piece and maybe reconsider the tone and angle from which you address the problem: https://hwaairfan.wordpress.com/2016/05/07/white-american-women-are-dying-prematurely/

I can’t even read the whole thing in one sitting it’s so filled with obscene distortions. ‘Black women’ face racism in the workplace, while white working class women are suffering from ‘privilege.’

I expected a little more nuance from Renegade which, while not absent, was still lacking. White working class people have the most determined and cunning and powerful forces arrayed against them, why not become part of the solution instead of more of the problem?

I only got half way through so I’ll finish listening but am already disappointed.

A vegan diet is way cheaper than a carnivorous diet. You can live off of beans, peas, lentils, rice and there cooked starches. They are cheap, filling and won’t make you oversight and unhealthy. There really is no excuse. It seems that you lack willpower.

Yep Sinns. And in fact, if one is a meat eater, even they can eat cheap, with organic meats. You can make a hell of a lot out of a couple of organic grass fed rumps, 2 potatoes, a carrot, 4 mushrooms, a bay leaf and a can of tomatoes. That can make a stew that will last one person a week. Pensioners can live off that kind of diet no problem at all and it’s tasty. If you leave the rump out of it, and add some more veges instead, such as celery zucchini and such, (as you rightly said about a vegan diet), it’s even cheaper. People that say they can’t afford it, are simply making excuses for their laziness. They don’t want… Read more »

After recording the weights of some 3,000 Amish people in 17 extended families, Dr. Platte and colleagues examined the heredity of obesity and found fat Amish have fat children and fat siblings. Obesity was predominately inherited among them, too. And, the Amish of Lancaster become obese just as frequently as other Germans, even though they are, on average, much more physically active.
They are not thinner than the rest of the country, despite untold amounts of physical activity and healthy living.

They live on bacon, butter, eggs and animal flesh. Just because they work more than your average American does not mean that they are immune from the side effects of a high fat diet.
