We had a birthday in the family yesterday and made vegan chocolate cake:

1 1/4 c flour
1/4 c cocoa powder
1tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 sugar
1 c non dairy milk
6 tbs applesauce
2 tbs balsamic vinegar
1 tsp vanilla, chocolate, or raspberry extract
1/4 c chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375F. Mix wet ingredients. Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Pour into a greased cake pan. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top and bake for 20-30 mins.

Coconut cream pie sound amazing!

Yay! Is that from ‘Oh She Glows’? I think I’ve made that one before and it was awesome.

This one’s from Happy Herbivore Holidays & Gatherings. I’ve only made a couple vegan desserts so far, and this one has been the only truly successful one yet! I haven’t tried any desserts from the Oh She Glows website yet, but I did find a recipe for a lentil bolognese that was amazing. Coconut custard pie was my favorite growing up….do you have a recipe for the one you mentioned?
