Obviously it’s a line from the Beck song “Loser” so it relates in that this show was about musical occultism. It’s definitely an interesting line in a song full of seemingly nonsense lyrics.

Am I the only one who would much much rather hear Charlie, than the callers. Maybe he can wait and give callers some time at the end of the show.
Or maybe… we can just let Charlie run his show how he wants to. Some of the calls are still a PITA, especially when they start out with “What are you discussing tonight?”, but obviously Charlie enjoys getting calls & it’s his show soooo…. grin & bear it or don’t listen – your choice!
Yes it is his show and he decides what to do with it, who denies that? But that does not mean his listeners are not allowed to provide certain criticisms and the one about the callers is certainly a legitimate one because in my opinion it drags down the quality of his shows because certain callers take too much air time and go off-topic.
This show which was topic focused had callers that took up almost 50 min of his show.
Agreed, particularly on this show. Unfortunately as far as the criticism you speak of, Charlie has stated numerous times that he doesn’t read comments here so people repeatedly posting the same comments about it is a waste of time & really just as irritating. If all of the people complaining into the wind here instead directed their opinion toward Charlie personally via email or call themselves then maybe he might actually get to know the opinion even exists & we wouldn’t have to see the same old useless whining over & over again going nowhere. It’s interesting to hear from callers you learn things so does Charlie. sharing information is good and Charlie seems to be a people person if he gets annoyed he will let you know and he will waste no time in doing so.
